Yesterday was my first experience going to one of those Japanese places where a chef comes out and cooks your food right in front of you, all the while putting on a show.

I was really glad I had the chance to go, because my parents are too cheap to go somewhere like that and as I have no car I couldn’t take myself (not that I would want to … what’s the point in going by yourself??). It was totally worth it. Everyone always talks about how cool it was, but I had never had the experience first-hand.
The chef was great, playing with cool things like knives and fire. The food was delicious as well, especially the fried rice, although the shrimp when dipped into the Mysterious Brown Sauce (MBS) tastes awesome too! One thing the chef could work on though is his pitching skills. He tried three times to throw a chunk of chicken into peoples’ mouths (twice at me, once at some other guy) and missed every time. (Although he was close every time, it bounced off our lips all three times.)
PS. Japanese chef depicted not actually Japanese chef who cooked for me ;)
