@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

1. Pelosi is not that unpopular. Especially in her native constituency, which is all that really matters in regards to her job.

2. There would be a conservative backlash, if Obama’s policies were really that unpopular. However, they are not, and the majority of Americans (according to NYT) believe Obama has done a good job so far and still support his policies.

3. The Republicans are the champions of libertarianism? Since when?

The GOP will most likely come back. Pelosi’s unpopular. There’s probably going to be a conservative backlash against the liberal policies of Obama & Co. And the Republicans are the champions of libertarianism. And people just love it when the government stays out of their private business.

Arlen Specter is just afraid of losing his job, because he’s been voting too far to the left for his party’s liking. He knows he’s up against some tough competition in the upcoming Republican primaries, because they’re actually running a real conservative candidate this time, not the liberal Specter.
