We have believed for quite some time that Mike would reply “LMAO” to anything. We never really decided to bring this up to Mike. Especially in this context:

Besides the fact that my grandmother is alive and well, it seems Mike has over-reacted slightly. Alan seems overwhelmed and will likely hide in a cave and eat a banana.
