Don Dwyer, Hero of the Millennium
Author: Aaron JCongratulations, Delegate Donald H. Dwyer, MD state delegate from District 31. You have won the Hero of the Millennium Award. And boy do you deserve it.

You are one of the few Americans who realize that the American Dream has nothing to do with being successful and raising your kids into a world that will accept them for who they are; it’s about going on a crusade against equal rights for same-sex couples. Upon hearing that Conaway v. Deane & Polyak, which would have granted marriage licenses to nine Maryland couples, was being heard by the Baltimore Circuit Court, you flipped your lid. You introduced countless proposals into the state legislature which would have blocked the attempt altogether. After Judge Murdock ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, you sponsored HB48, which would have added an amendment to the state constitution banning same-sex marriages. When the state Court of Appeals finally ruled against Conaway, you didn’t even stop to party — you introduced a resolution to impeach Judge Murdock for daring to find in favor of the plaintiffs. You have also averaged two amendment proposals per year, and it shows your perseverance, especially since they are consistently defeated with greater and greater margins (13-6 for your latest 2009 attempt, which had the added perk of banning the mere discussion of same-sex marriage in public schools).
Sir, you know what it takes to be a true American. You have overcome looking like a drunk frat kid with Down’s syndrome and are a role model for homophobes throughout the world. Maryland is proud of you.
This makes me want to tell Delegate Dwyer how much we appreciate his work.

Author: Aaron JI just signed this petition to stop the divisive “Federal Marriage Amendment.”
It’s an election year, and Republicans are in deep trouble. Instead of addressing the things Americans really care about, they’re trying to change the subject and use wedge issues in hopes of distracting from their failures and dividing Americans to win elections.
This time, LGBT families are the pawns in their political game. And this time, the American Constitution is their political playing field. They want to amend the Constitution to deprive gay people of equal rights under the law.
With your help, we can a powerful message to Republicans that legislating discrimination defames good people. Please join me by signing

Author: SchweffyAlfred Kinsey is seen as the father of “sexology”, or studying human sexuality. This started in the 1930s or so, so he was extremely radical for his time. During his studies, he developed what is called the “kinsey scale”.
This is a scale that measures the sexual orientation of a person. of course, this is very subjective, and is not an actual scale. But basically, it’s a scale from 0-6, with 0 being exclusively heterosexual, and 6 being exclusively homosexual.
I personally believe that the majority population falls somewhere in the middle of this. My personal belief is that even if you say that someone of the same sex is attractive, then you are NOT a 0…even if a girl calls another girl pretty, they are not considered a 0 in my book.
But of course, this is only my opinion. I see nothing wrong with being gay, as I myself consider myself a lesbian.
I’ve always considered myself a 4.75 on the scale…sometimes I think a guy is attractive, but I never thought I’d date one. However, i just recently ended a relationship with Garcia. And with this end, I believe I’m officially shifting my kinsey scale ranking.
So as of May 12,2008, I consider myself a 5 on the kinsey scale.

Author: Aaron JFred Thompson dropped out of the race last week. You know, the old guy from Law and Order. What’s really embarrassing though is how he sometimes mixes things up a bit.
Edward Paul, an employee of the Delta Dental Plans Association, asked the question Monday, but had trouble being understood.
“I’m proud to say that in January 2008 New Hampshire has passed a law facilitating civil unions here…What is your belief for federal civil unions to be passed?” Paul asked.
“Soviet Union?” Thompson responded.
“No, civil unions,” Paul said.
“Oh. No, I would not be in support of that,” Thompson said.
Paul said he wasn’t surprised, or impressed.
“I think he needs to do more homework on whatever state he’s in and I don’t think he did on that question,” said Paul.
It’s understandable, I guess. I mean, it’s obvious that all gays are communists. *rolls eyes*
